ELM System - Components - Overview

There are several groups of functional components which an ELM system may implement. Click on a link to get more information about a component and attached modules and racks. The tables below show which components are available on which ELM-devices.

	Components for door locking control - Overview These components cover opening and monitoring of spring loaded handles, single point latches and motor-driven doors.
	Components for sensory supervision - Overview These components cover sensory supervision.
	Switching components - Overview These components are relay contacts for connecting external actors.
	Operating components - Overview These components include user interface components which allows for actions by entering an access code number, presenting a proximity card or controlling locks via mobile phone.
	Communication components - Overview A communication component can exchange data with external workstations in different ways, LAN or serial RS232. Furthermore, CAN-bus data communication between modules and racks of an ELM system is managed by a communication component. Exactly one communication component is required for an ELM system.
