The SNMP manager ELMcontrol allows easy configuration, control and monitoring of the electronic locking system EMKA ELM on a PC with Microsoft Windows® operating systems. The data exchange between ELMcontrol and an ELM system can be effected via network or serial interface of a Communication component which is implemented on module H1m14 (3000-U14). The Simple Network Management Protocol SNMPv1 (RFC1157) is used as network communication protocol. This also allows the integration of the ELM systems into third party SNMP manager programs. For security reasons the exchange via network interface is possible on authorized computers, only. The serial interface allows an unlimited access to data and is used for the initial set up of an ELM system. |

| Online Evaluation |
The settings for configuration of the ELM system made by ELMcontrol are directly checked and saved within the ELM system. Therefore it is useful to work with ELMcontrol only while an connected ELM system is in operation.
We want to provide a way of getting an impression of what the ELM system does and how administration is done even if the ELM hardware is not available. Therefore an ELM system containing a few modules is online for evaluation purposes. That means, this ELM system is controllable via internet.
If you would like to try out the access to an ELM system over the Internet, click on the link below for the instructions.
